Sidlesham School was built in 1877 and is situated in Highleigh, a semi-rural area of the Manhood Peninsula, 5 miles south of Chichester. There are currently 130 children in the school between four and eleven years of age and the Keynor Playgroup operates from the school community room.

It has excellent facilities with Interactive Whiteboards and a network of computers in all classes. The classrooms are bright and airy and the new, 2003, sports hall enables all sorts of healthy fun and games.

The school has a very good site with two playgrounds and a large playing field.

The school was inspected by OFSTED in December 2007.  The school was described as 'a good and improving school with outstanding pupil behaviour'.
